My story

Hi, I’m Elizabeth, a Canadian Certified Counsellor. My heart for caring for the wanderer began at the beginning of my story. With my childhood spent in South Asia, Europe, and Canada, I learned early the gifts and challenges of belonging in the in-between. Since completing my masters in counselling psychology, I have served as a clinician in Canada and have worked internationally as a humanitarian with displaced populations. In these capacities I provided trauma counselling, program design, training, and team care. These experiences strengthened my dedication to care for those facing displacement, those living in a land not their own, and those serving others in challenging roles and contexts. Currently, I’m based in the UK, offering remote counselling to humanitarians, cross cultural workers, and third culture kids, as well as providing team-care for medical teams. Please reach out, I’d love to hear from you!

  • As a counsellor I see the importance of caring for the whole person, mind, body, soul and heart. In addition to my masters in counselling I trained in a variety of evidence based approaches which focused on trauma, relationships, emotions, present focused practices, and narrative meaning. I draw upon these, integrating them to meet the needs of the individual. At the core of my counselling my hope is to provide a safe space of compassionate listening where your story is held with the greatest respect and value.
